Pitzer College Core Value: Environmental Sustainability

Why is this important?

We invest in environments that perform as well as our faculty and students, thus preparing the next generation of environmental stewards.

What will my gift do?

While campus acreage has increased, ninety percent is now dedicated to environmental programming. Our strategic plan calls for building, renovating, enhancing and expanding facilities to make the Pitzer campus even more conducive to learning and engaged in protecting the environment. Pitzer has been recognized for these efforts by garnering 8 national LEED certification awards for gold and platinum.
